VICE PRESIDENT AND GENERAL MANAGER, CALCULEX

Athanasios ‘Nasos’ Bardis, the Vice President and General Manager of CALCULEX, brings extensive program management and engineering leadership experience to Spectra Aerospace & Defense. His strategic vision and technical expertise ideally position him to lead CALCULEX in delivering secure and innovative data acquisition and recording solutions to the defense industry.

Prior to joining Spectra, Nasos served as the Vice President of Engineering at FreeFlight Systems, where he demonstrated his ability to enhance operational capabilities in a lean manufacturing environment. His impressive career includes engineering leadership roles at Safran, ABB Power Distribution, Eaton, and Honeywell, providing him with comprehensive knowledge of the defense and aerospace sectors.

Nasos is focused on positioning CALCULEX to continue its legacy of innovation and excellence in providing mission-critical electronics and software for fighter and fixed-wing aircraft, weapon systems, and UAV platforms. Under his leadership, CALCULEX remains committed to supporting U.S. and international armed forces with high-quality, reliable solutions.

Nasos holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Wales, educational credentials that underpin his technical expertise and strategic approach to business leadership.
