Michael Judy

Vice President and General Manager, Spectra Las Cruces

Michael Judy serves as Vice President and General Manager of Spectra Defense Technologies’ Las Cruces, N.M. operations. He brings more than 20 years of experience leading global aerospace, defense, commercial and general aviation programs, delivering mission-critical technology solutions for both the U.S. Department of War and commercial markets.

Michael’s career reflects a proven ability to scale organizations, execute complex multi-site operations and lead high-performance engineering, R&D and operations teams. He is known for aligning strategic vision with disciplined execution, implementing Lean and Agile transformation initiatives and fostering cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable results. He is a Six Sigma Green Belt–certified professional and holds an active Top Secret clearance.

Prior to joining Spectra, Michael served as Vice President of Engineering and Technology at Geost (a LightRidge Solutions company), where he led R&D, design and production for advanced aerospace Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) and space domain awareness systems, managing a $260M portfolio and a team of more than 150 engineers and operations personnel. His career also includes leadership roles at Ophir Corporation, Peraton, Northrop Grumman, B/E Aerospace and Honeywell Aerospace, as well as more than three decades of service in the U.S. Navy, where he retired as a Commander.

Michael holds a Master of Business Administration from Park University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Kennesaw State University. He began his academic career at Valencia College, earning an Associate of Arts. He is also a licensed commercial pilot.

At Spectra, Michael serves as a member of the senior leadership team, where his experience will be instrumental in advancing Las Cruces operations and strengthening alignment across the Spectra platform.
