Tony Hatten

Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Tony Hatten is the Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing for Spectra Aerospace & Defense. He is responsible for overseeing & directing all sales and marketing activities for Spectra to meet the company’s growth targets in the rugged military displays, computing, peripherals, data recorders, and data storage product areas, as well as in the commercial & business jet aviation markets. Tony joined Spectra in April 2021.

Tony brings to Spectra over 30 years of experience as a senior business development executive in the military electronics and avionics market. Before joining Spectra as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, he was VP of Business Development for Avalex Technologies Corporation (now part of Mercury Systems).

Prior to Avalex, Tony was an Aerospace Segment Manager for over seven years at Barco, a Belgian technology company. Prior to this marketing position, he was Western Regional Sales Manager and then Director of Sales for Barco. Tony’s career path also included Senior Director of Sales & Marketing for L3 Communications as well as a Program Manager at Loral Information Display Systems.

A native of Atlanta, Tony was an officer with the United States Air Force prior to joining industry. Tony earned a BSEE degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. He also earned an MS in Management Science, with a focus in Systems Management, from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Binghamton in New York.
