Overview
The CALCULEX Model 1402 RIPR is designed for use on a variety of platforms and applications that require a small stackable/reconfigurable or fixed multi-channel & multi-format recorder.
Building on this foundation, the 1402 RIPR family offers a versatile mix of digital and analog ports in its baseline configuration. To further extend its capabilities, a broad selection of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) stackable and reconfigurable data and video I/O modules can be seamlessly integrated.
Designed for rapid deployment, the 1402 RIPR systems support customized data and video capture, processing and recording — meeting the unique requirements of virtually any commercial or military data acquisition environment.
Key Features
Customized-COTS Data & Video I/O The 1402 RIPR has been configured with a COTS I/O module to provide 8-channels of RS422 or Single Ended PCM connectivity; software configurable as inputs or outputs; capable of up to 20 Mbps per channel. The baseline controller adds additional 2ch PCM RS422 differential input, 4ch 1Gb Ethernet, analog audio, and 8 discrete input and 8 discrete output.
Ethernet & Serial Control and Status Easily reprogram routings and link speeds. Integrable device status for real-time monitoring of all data links. Ethernet publish of any recording channels selected.
Rugged MIL-STD Performance Qualified for operations in the harshest of environments delivering assured performance through high shock, vibration and other environmental hazards
Minimized SWaP 1402 RIPR offers an unparalleled advantage in platforms and pods that require minimized SWaP and maximized processing capabilities. Time sync via 1 IRIG B AM or DC, 1553 time sync, GPS receiver optional or IEEE-1588 over Ethernet. 2ch PCM RS422 output as CH7 TM output or HDLC Ethernet over serial Streaming (EOSS) PCM out. 1,4,8, or 16TB NVMe RMM. RMM uses AEs256 self-encrypting drive.
